Flight Transport Options
We offer two types of flight transport: Standby Flights and Confirmed Flights. Both provide safe, professional air travel with a trained flight nanny, and both include options for pets under or over 22 lbs.(pets over 22lbs have to be well trained, obedient and able to walk on a leash at an airport)
Standby Flights for pets under 22lb
(Most affordable air option — requires schedule flexibility) only between international airports-not for Reginald.
Standby Flights allow us to book your pet on the next available flight within a 10-day travel window. This is ideal for families who want lower pricing and can be flexible with travel dates.
How It Works:
- Client provides a 10-day window for travel.
- We select the flight date within that window based on airline availability.
- You receive flight confirmation once the airline confirms the seat.
- If delays occur (weather, cancellations, airline issues), we work immediately to secure the next available flight with your nanny.
Requirements & Pet Guidelines:
- Options available for pets under 22 lbs
- Cats must have a soft carrier.
- Pets must be over 8 weeks old.
- Must have a Health Certificate or airline-required “Clear to Travel” paperwork (valid for all U.S. states and territories).
International Airport only
Confirmed Flights any size pet
Confirmed Flights allow the client to choose the exact travel date their pet will fly. This option ensures maximum control and convenience.
How It Works:
- Client selects the exact date.
- We book your pet on that confirmed flight.
- Pickup and delivery are coordinated around your chosen date.
- If delays or cancellations occur, we immediately rebook your pet on the next available confirmed flight with their nanny.

- Options available for pets under 22 lbs and over 22 lbs.
- Cats must have a soft carrier.
- Pets must be over 8 weeks old.
- Health Certificate or airline “Clear to Travel” paperwork required for all U.S. states and territories.
International Flight Transport
(Under 22lbs — requires advance planning)
We also offer international pet flights with a nanny
What to Know:
- All international flights require a USDA-endorsed Health Certificate.
- Depending on the country’s regulations, processing can take up to 30 days.
- Some countries require quarantine on arrival — clients should verify country-specific rules.
- We coordinate all flights, paperwork, and logistics.
- If delays happen due to weather, customs, or airline changes, we always work to get your pet onto the next available flight.
Who is Blue Collar Pet Transport?
Blue Collar Pet Transport is a pet relocation and shipping company that puts your loved ones first. We have been transporting pets since 2019 and pride ourselves on making your pet’s relocation experience as easy as possible. We offer shared ride, private, and air pet transport to accommodate all your needs. In addition to being USDA registered, we are also insured to protect your loved ones.
Requirements & Process
- A USDA Health Certificate is required for all international flights.
- We assist with all paperwork, documentation, and customs requirements.
- Depending on the destination, we may need 30 plus days of advance notice to complete the necessary paperwork—the earlier you start, the better.
If cargo is required, your pet will need an airline-approved crate. Certain breeds or larger sizes may require a custom crate, which we can help arrange.
We keep you updated throughout the whole process to ensure everything meets the guidelines for your specific destination. You will need to speak with one of our agents, who will go over all requirements and provide a tailored travel plan for your pet.
