    We provide professional, nationwide pet transport services by ground and air throughout the contiguous United States. Whether your pet is traveling via Shared, Semi-Private, or Private Ground Transport — or with a nanny through any of our Flight Services — their comfort, safety, and emotional well-being are our highest priorities.
     
    All of our ground transports use sanitized wire crates, and we provide the crate, bowls, and fresh water for every pet. Our vehicles are climate-controlled and supervised by experienced handlers operating under the guidance of a dedicated logistics team. Pets are given exercise and potty breaks every 3–4 hours, typically during fuel stops, and clients receive regular photo and location updates through a shared group message that includes the driver or nanny, logistics manager, and support team.

    Our most affordable option, designed for sociable, travel-ready pets who are crate-trained and current on vaccinations. This option combines efficiency and care for a safe journey with multiple animals onboard.

    A safe and efficient in-cabin option for pets 22 lbs or under, accompanied by a trained flight nanny on commercial airlines. This service ensures personal supervision and rapid delivery between major airports.

    Frequently Asked Questions and What To Expect

    We use wire crates for maximum airflow, visibility, and comfort during transport.

    We provide fresh water and bowls for every pet. We do not provide food, so please pack your pet’s regular food in labeled, portioned containers.

    Yes, we provide fresh litter and disposable litter boxes for cats during transport. These are cleaned and refreshed regularly throughout the trip.

    We use team drivers who rotate shifts. When one driver rests, the other drives, allowing us to operate 24/7. This reduces travel time and stress for your pet. Our teams typically work 10–12 days at a time and then take 5–7 days off to rest.

    Dogs are given breaks every 3 to 4 hours. They are walked in low-traffic, pet-safe areas like quiet parks or open spaces to stretch, exercise, and relieve themselves.

    Cats receive wellness checks every 3 to 4 hours. During these checks, food and water are refreshed, and litter is replaced as needed to ensure cleanliness and comfort.

    This depends on the type of transport service you book:

    For Shared Transport, you may send one comfort item such as a toy or blanket.
     
    For Private or Team Transport, you’re welcome to send a bed, toys, food containers, and all your pet’s belongings—whatever helps keep them comfortable and calm during the journey.

    All drivers carry their own individual pet insurance policy Through PetCare.  Blue Collar Pet Transport also offers valuation protection.

    We use primarily minivans and SUV’s. Smaller vehicles means less pets on board and also means faster delivery times. Our bigger vans we reserve for Shelters and facilities needing large groups of animals moved at one time.  

    We can guide you through any paperwork or forms needed to complete for transport.  

    Ground Transport – Price is guaranteed and covers everything.
    Flights – Price is guaranteed and covers everything.
    (With the exception of inbound fees for international flights). (These fees are only payable by the pet owner)
    Pets under 22lbs will be in a carrier with the Nanny. 
    Pets over 22lbs must have their own seat purchased.  This is included in price at time of reservation.  
    Drivers rotate and sleep when needed in the vehicle.  We utilize two person teams with 96% of our fleet.  
    Hotel stays are optional with Private Transports Only and must be agreed upon at time of reservation.  

    Pets are never left unattended.  

    In case of an accident, our drivers are trained to follow all legal procedures. If vehicle is disabled for any reason, logistics will find the nearest transporter and rework the route if needed.  

    What to Expect

    Within 24 hours, you’ll be asked to confirm all reservation details.
     
    A group message will be created, including you, any contacts you want to add, the account manager, logistics manager, driver or nanny, and the operations manager. This message is active and monitored 24/7 for continuous support.
    You’ll be contacted 48-72 hours before your pickup window begins for ground transport, and as soon as the flight nanny is assigned for flights.
     
    Ensure your pet is ready with proper paperwork and a health certificate if required.
     
    Please do not feed your pet on the day of pickup to minimize stress during the initial hours of transport. Water will be available at all times.
    You can expect daily pictures of your pet. For shared transports, you’ll receive at least two and up to four pictures per day.
     
    Dogs will have breaks every 3-4 hours for walks and bathroom breaks, while cats will remain in their crates.
     
    Communication with the driver and support team will be constant, and any questions you have will be promptly answered.
    Expect your pet to be hungry and thirsty, as they typically eat and drink less during transport.
     
    Your pet will be clean upon arrival, and any accidents during the journey will be promptly addressed.
