5 Activities You and Your Dog Can Do Inside

Being stuck inside may not be ideal. But it also doesn’t have to be boring.

Don’t spend your days aimlessly scrolling social media or binge-watching Netflix. Instead, take this time to hang out with your furry friend, whether you are playing a new game or brushing up on old tricks, there are tons of activities you can do with your pet.

To help ease your indoor boredom, here are five activities you and your dog can do inside.

Play Find The Treat

It’s important to keep your pet active and engaged even if you are stuck inside. One game to try is ‘find the treat.’ This game is easy to play and does not require any additional equipment.

Grab 5 – 10 treats and hide each treat in a different place around the house. While you are hiding the treats, make sure your pup doesn’t see you, have them hang out in an empty room or in their crate. Once all the treats are hidden, let your dog out and let them sniff out all the treats.

Grooming

Watch a Movie Together

Who doesn’t love to cozy up on the couch and watch movies? You’d be surprised, but your dog would love this too!

Start by setting the mood by making a comfortable space in your living room for your pet to relax while they watch the movie. Then load up on your pet’s favorite treats, maybe some of the homemade ones you made earlier. And finally, turn on a pet-friendly film, and enjoy your relaxing night in.
